Wondering Walks Product Guide - Equipment for the Handler

Dog whistle

Dog Whistle by ACME

This whistle is excellent for recall in loud environments, my dogs can hear the whistle at further distances in this type of situation. The frequency of the whistle is important, and I have found the 210.5 to be effective. Remember, it’s not the equipment you use but instead how you train them to respond to the equipment, AND you should always use a long line if your dog’s recall isn’t 100%.

BABEYER Dog Treat Pouch Bag

I am not a fan of treat bags because I tend to get annoyed with them being in the way, BUT when I found this “walking bag” I found it extremely useful. The inside of the bag is shiny so I can wipe it clean, I can fit my phone (just) in the front part (can’t zip it up though), I use the small pouch at the front for tennis balls or spare poop bags, and there’s a squeaker sewn into the lining! It has other features, but I don’t use them. I have found this to be the least annoying treat bag so far.

Poo Bags by Earth Rated

These poo bags are the ones I keep going back to. They don’t have handles which I prefer, and they are strong! I have tried other brands that are more degradable, but I am yet to find a brand with this type of poo bag that doesn’t tear, get weak when you are on the beach, or struggle in the rain. The Earth Rated poo bags are good in all of these conditions, and I will be purchasing them again once I have used up all of my weak, poo finger poo bags that I unfortunately bulk bought!
