Wondering Walks Product Guide - Dog Treats

Dried sausages.

Pork Sausages by Hollings

I am currently loving these sausages as a training reward. The dogs love them! I slice them up which is time consuming but worth it. They are currently cheapest with “Time for Paws”, I get the 3kg instead of the 1kg because it works out cheaper for me (I go through a lot!).

Sliced natural dog treats.

Natural Treats by Pet Treats Wholesale

These treats stink! This means the dogs LOVE them and they are a great high-value reward. However, I always buy in bulk and the price doubled. The 1kg option is pretty much the same as the Hollings pork sausages, but they do make your pocket smell a lot more!

A tube of liver paste.

Liver Paste by Arden Grange

This is another very good high value treat for training. However, the lid seems to end up being hard to screw back on, when it is cold the paste is hard to squeeze out BUT I would recommend using this to keep the dog distracted whilst brushing or messing with their feet.

You can squeeze the tube gently and only let small amounts out (good for the waistline) but be careful if your dog is ‘grabby’, you don’t want them stealing the whole tube!

Small sized Akela kibble.

Akela Original – Small Paws

Akela is a working dog food company. Their products are of an extremely high standard, and I have found that they don’t upset sensitive tummies (they are also in the high price range). I have recently purchased their “Original – small paws” kibble to use as treats when walking client dogs in the day (and I also used to feed my dogs it as their main food – but it is quite pricey when you own 5 dogs!), it is hypoallergenic and grain free and the dogs love it (1.5kg of the small paws is currently only £10).
